How We Breed

Wayland and Cyrus were carefully chosen to be healthy and a good representation of the breed as our pets. Genetic testing has been done and no genetic conditions were identified. The dogs have not presented with any health issues – including skin allergies. The dogs have had no problems in their dispositions – no aggressiveness or insecurities. Careful attention is given to Wayland during pregnancy to include restrictions around large animals and dietary changes. She is given all the comfort as she gets these puppies ready! My husband (retired veterinarian) regularly monitors and checks her progress. It will be all hands-on deck when it is time to welcome the babies – she will not do it alone. The birthing area in our mudroom will be well stocked to ensure babies and Wayland have everything they need. The puppies will be safe and warm. Pictures and videos will be available as your puppy enters the world. Wayland will only breed once a year. Cyrus is available to stud.
